About the Role:
We are hiring a Director of Marketing FP&A to lead the partnership with our Marketing organization and ensure the function’s effectiveness in the overall go-to-market engine. In this role, you will lead a team of 3+ individuals to drive strategic decision-making, provide financial insight into investment decisions, and build operational rigor and efficiency. You will work with the CMO and her leadership team to guide financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. You will also be responsible for key financial deliverables and ad hoc analyses and define the processes by which we scale and grow the budgeting, spend, and ROI process for these teams. In addition, you will drive the strategic and operational rigor in our Pipeline Generation and Pipeline Progression analytics and reporting processes. This role will report to the Head of GTM Finance. We’re looking for a strong business partner who can deliver top-tier results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do:
Own FP&A’s relationship with the Chief Marketing Officer and their leadership team
Partner with Marketing leaders on data-driven evaluation and execution of strategic business initiatives; provide operational guidance on best practices and ROI frameworks for thinking through marketing program spend and investments
Build and maintain detailed financial models that track and analyze functional costs and their impact on the company’s overall performance
Lead the development and execution of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial planning and forecasting processes for Marketing
Build and maintain detailed financial models that track and analyze pipeline generation and conversion and their impact on the company’s overall performance
Prepare executive-level management reporting, summarizing findings and recommendations; identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies
Collaborate with Marketing and Finance leaders to drive and execute both short-term and long-term policies to drive growth and efficiency while delivering a high return on investment
Partner with Corp Accounting to perform month-end close activities and help drive process improvements and efficiencies
Manage approvals for both hiring and purchase requisitions, striving to constantly deliver and improve upon our forecast accuracy
What You Will Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (masters a plus)
8+ years of hands-on FP&A experience in a high-growth technology company, strategic consulting function, or equivalent
Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills required
Effective communication at a detailed level while having the ability to elevate for high-level consumption by executives
Ability to manage executives at 50,000 ft while simultaneously managing analysts at 1,000 feet
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; must also be proficient using G-Suite
Ability to work quickly and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail
Ability to influence business partners and provide recommendations to drive decision-making and execution
Effective leadership and team management skills
Experience developing and improving processes with a desire to inspire change across the org
What Gives You an Edge:
Prior experience in Go-to-market FP&A function
Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, Netsuite, and Anaplan
Experience with Allocadia or other marketing budget and ROI software

This position has an annual estimated salary of $237,600 - $285,120 and a competitive equity package. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
