Job Summary:
Procures supply chain requirements for the Enterprise at greatest competitive value in accordance with prescribed purchasing policies and procedures.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Supports the coordination of activities related to procurement of a particular commodity or service beginning with intent to purchase through delivery to end-user in accordance with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
Submits bid opportunities, analyzes quotations received, negotiates preferred pricing and contractual terms, selects or recommends suppliers, and schedules deliveries.
Assists in the review and approval of invoices for procurement transactions, and coordinates reconciliation of invoices and corporate credit card charges with Accounting.
Creates purchase orders and requisitions for approved purchases.
Identifies and implements opportunities to reduce cost throughout the Enterprise supply chain by working closely with internal customers and the supply base.
Assists in the request for proposal process.
Participates in the investigation and research of new products/services and suppliers in support of Enterprise procurement strategy, to ensure the best total value in cost, quality and delivery standards for the Enterprise.
Administers and coordinates activities related to the Third Party Risk Management program and supplier performance evaluations.
Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.
