Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Radiology Director and/or Lead Technologist performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures that involve the administration of various radiopharmaceuticals for the purpose of detecting pathology and the evaluation of systems function/physiology. Safely operates all the equipment within the department and develops and organizes images and data for presentation to the radiologists and/or cardiologists. This technologist is also responsible for the associated clerical and computer functions, keeping within ALARA standards and maintaining proper procedures and documentation to satisfy all Federal and Florida State regulatory requirements. This technologist must also establish and maintain a good rapport and professional relationship with our internal and external customers, fellow employees other facilities and departments, and our medical staff.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)

• Certificate
