JBT Bevcorp has been a full-service provider of packaging equipment since 1992. We offer solutions for your filling, blending, container handling, and seamer equipment, parts, and service needs. As our Director of Operations, you will report to the General Manager and you will lead and implement operation excellence throughout the manufacturing sites to improve, safety, quality, scheduling, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. On a given day, you may: Advocate the Safety Programs to create a culture that creates an injury free environment Strategic execution to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the manufacturing operations Develop and implement an integrated production scheduling system that enables flexibility to meet customer needs Ensure material management to meet production needs Gain an understanding of the Epicor ERP system and be a leader in its use Deploy opex (operational expenditure) improvement programs improving cost structure Implement a brand new S&OP system, understand and measure capacity, cost of quality, change management processes Work with executive team and individual department heads to insure that company priorities are aligned with direction of the company Requirements for the role Bachelor's Degree or higher 10+ years of management/supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility 10+ years managing production operations Excellent ERP Skills Experience with material management, process improvement, safety and quality processes An understanding of machines and tools and practical experience on equipment Travel & Location This position is onsite and you will report primarily to the main location in Eastlake, OH. We ask that you travel 20% of the time to Kennesaw, GA as the position oversees 2 locations/facilities: OH & GA. Why work at JBT ...
