The Job You Will Perform:
The key accountabilities listed below are not to be considered all-inclusive; a team member may be required to perform additional tasks, as directed, based on changing business needs of the company.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Instrumentation:
Troubleshoot, configure, maintain:
PLC systems
Single loop controls for various field systems
Instillation, calibration, troubleshooting various manufactures of analog and SMART instruments and analytical equipment
Shop and field repair of final control elements such as pneumatic valves, electric valves, solenoid operated valves, calibration of pneumatic and SMART valve positioners
Routine and regulatory calibration of field instruments for boilers and environmental systems
Troubleshoot, maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Read and redline loop sheets, P&IDs
Read and interpret wiring diagrams & electrical schematics
Understand and follow NFPA70E regulations involving Arc Flash and Shock hazards
Other duties as assigned
Electrician:
Troubleshoot, install, repair AC and DC drive systems as well as stand-alone process drives of various manufacturers
Troubleshoot, install, maintain various electrical components such as mechanical limit, proximity, photo electric, speed and reflective switches
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on 480v thru 13.8kv power distribution switchgear
Understand and follow NFPA70E regulations involving Arc Flash and Shock hazards
Other duties as assigned
Quality Expectations
Ensure an understanding of quality policy and support efforts for a positive customer experience.
Aid in the execution of mill-wide quality efforts as needed to help maintain mill quality standards.
The Skills You Will Bring:
Minimum
Must be currently 18 years of age or older
Eligible for employment in the U.S.
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
Basic computer skills
Able to function in a team environment.
AND the following
- Three (3) or more years work experience in INSTRUMENTATION or ELECTRICAL systems.
Preferred
Associates degree or certification(s) in Industrial Maintenance or other related disciplines within instrumentation/electrical.
Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
Must be willing to meet the following requirements:
Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment
Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment.
Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification
Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis
Wear required safety equipment
Operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces with proper safety training and safety protection)
