Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority Event Coordinator in Ogdensburg, New York
The Ogdensburg Bridge & Port Authority is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to organize outstanding events at the soon to be opened Great Room at the Ogdensburg International Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for every part of event preparations and evaluation of success afterward.
Responsibilities include: identifying the clients requirements & expectations for an event, sourcing and negotiating with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process; coordinating event logistics, managing all set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes, maintaining event budgets, conducting final inspections on the day of the event; reviewing event bills and approve payment; conducting post-event evaluation.
Requirements: Proven experience as an event coordinator or similar role; at least three (3) years experience in the role; strong communications skills; ability to work under pressure managing multiple tasks & projects simultaneously; BA in hospitality management preferred. This is a full-time position with a salary range: $55,000 $60,000 annually. The anticipated start date of this position is: 1st of April 2025.
