We are currently seeking a Tool Maintenance Technician this position will monitor and maintain molds & tooling used in the production of bicycle rims, frames and/or small parts in the manufacturing area. The ideal candidate for this position may posses some type of tooling and mechanical maintenance experience. This is a contract to hire position with advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform new mold/tooling preparation.
• Perform routine tooling PM's, repair molds and tooling, and keep maintenance records.
• Be willing to cross train within the department.
• Maintain and safe and orderly work environment.
• Ensure all records are captured correctly; operate and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
• Willingness to cross-train within the department, as well as learn other areas to support the Company's needs.

• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience requirements-

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED); technical school desirable.
• 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment; basic understanding of composites and/or certificate preferred.
• Ability to use a computer/tablet/keyboard.
• Experience using hand tools and ability to read and operate gauges and measuring equipment.
• Must possess a general mechanical aptitude and be comfortable working with equipment and tooling.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel; ability to learn and use new software.
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) training preferred.
