EXPRESS EMPLOYMENT PROFESSIONALS Tool Maintenance Technician in OGDEN, Utah
We are currently seeking a Tool Maintenance Technician this position will monitor and maintain molds & tooling used in the production of bicycle rims, frames and/or small parts in the manufacturing area. The ideal candidate for this position may posses some type of tooling and mechanical maintenance experience. This is a contract to hire position with advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform new mold/tooling preparation.
- Perform routine tooling PM's, repair molds and tooling, and keep maintenance records.
- Be willing to cross train within the department.
- Maintain and safe and orderly work environment.
- Ensure all records are captured correctly; operate and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
- Willingness to cross-train within the department, as well as learn other areas to support the Company's needs.

Education and Experience requirements-
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED); technical school desirable.
- 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment; basic understanding of composites and/or certificate preferred.
- Ability to use a computer/tablet/keyboard.
- Experience using hand tools and ability to read and operate gauges and measuring equipment.
- Must possess a general mechanical aptitude and be comfortable working with equipment and tooling.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel; ability to learn and use new software.
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) training preferred.
Skills-
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and efficiently with general instruction and limited supervision to meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain the pace of work with machine shop.
- Ability to deal with multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, working with a team to accomplish goals and efficiently meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and comprehend a variety of SOPs and/or routine engineering design drawings.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Effective interpersonal, decision making, analytical, and problem-solving skills to deal with a variety of changing situations.
General mechanical aptitude and comfortable working with equipment and tooling.
