The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking applicants for a Program Manager with background in managing a “Subject Matter Expert” support contract with the Air Force Sentinel Program Office. The successful applicant will be serving as an Ogden, UT based Deputy Program Manager with primary responsibility for managing team tasking and interfacing with US Air Force customers. The Program Manager will work as part of a larger team with customers, engineers, managers, technicians, and support personnel.
This position is based at Falcon Hill on Hill Air Force Base, UT.

Key Responsibilities:
Understanding a customer’s needs and issues, usually by direct interface
Work with the customer to define project tasking and follow-through with project execution
Assembling and directing corporate resources toward execution of the contract
Identifying, tracking, avoiding, and mitigating risks
Trading issues of scope, approach, cost, and schedule
Delivering the contracted result
Managing daily activities of an engineering support team
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree
5+ years of project management or technical leadership experience
Demonstrated supervisory experience
Proficiency in task management
Ability to organize and manage a team
Experience leading technical projects
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while making direct contributions to team success
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills
Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a US Government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of project management experience
BS or advanced degree in systems, software, data, or cyber engineering
Management and systems engineering experience with DoD/USAF
USAF Nuclear operations or enterprise experience
USAF weapons development and acquisition experience
Hold an active DOD TS Clearance
