Nexeo Staffing Forklift Driver in OGDEN, Utah
Nexeo HR is currently looking for a skilled Forklift Driver
to join the shipping and receiving team
at a reputable food manufacturing facility in Ogden,UT
. Ideal candidates should possess prior forklift operation experience and demonstrate basic computer proficiency to support inventory and logistics tasks. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to efficient warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
Transport products throughout the warehouse using a sit-down forklift.
Prepare and maintain detailed and accurate shipping reports for the manager,ensuring all documentation is up to date.
Keep the warehouse tidy and organized. Ensure all merchandise is properly packaged,stored,and placed in designated locations.
Engage professionally with external companies and clients,ensuring all interactions reflect positively on the company.
Accurately insect incoming shipments,cross-referencing invoices with orders to confirm received goods meet quality and order specifications.
Work closely with clerks to manage paperwork and ensure goods are shipped,received,and stored accurately.
Schedule and coordinate shipments with partner trucking companies as directed by the Shipping Supervisor.
Follow all health,occupational,environmental,and food safety regulations,as well as company policies and legal requirements.
Comply with the company s Integrated Management Systems,which encompass Production,Quality,Food Safety,and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Carry out other tasks as assigned to support the overall operation of the department.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating a Forklift,specifically in a food product environment,ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials.
Proficiency in basic computer operations to assist with inventory management and documentation.
Prior experience in shipping and receiving operations,demonstrating a thorough understanding of processes and best practices.
Strong attention to detail to accurately manage shipping paperwork and maintain organized records.
Pay
$20.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Grave Shift | 7:00 PM -7:00 AM | Rotating Schedule
Week 1 | Sunday,Monday,Thursday,Friday
Week 2 | Tuesday,Wednesday,Saturday
