MOUNTAIN STATES LP GAS Dispatcher in OGDEN, Utah
We are looking to add an experienced dispatcher to our team. We are a family owned and operated company that has been in business for over 35 years. We need someone who is dependable, reliable, fast paced and able to multitask. Someone who knows their geographic locations and can help our drivers when needed.
Responsibilities
You will be working directly with drivers, verifying information, sorting, scanning and entering paperwork into our system verifying any errors and correcting. Updating excel sheets, accurately tracking emails and messages, responding to any requests immediately upon arrival. Dispatching all drivers before 3:00pm daily. Taking after hours calls helping drivers who need roadside assistance or load information. Assisting other staff members as needed; that is just to mention a few items. This position is full time Monday through Friday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch between 12-1pm.
Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work every other weekend- On Call Dispatch
Qualifications
The Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of previous experience in the trucking industry.
- Be able to Operate common office equipment, computers, scanners and printers.
- Must be able to dispatch drivers according to location, and loads.
- Must be detail oriented and have organization skills
- Be able to read and write in English
- Understand basic instruction and follow procedures
- Work independently, with minimal supervision
- Be able to pass a background check and drug screen
