Hospital Sisters Health Systems (HSHS) Multimodality Imaging Technologist I | As Needed in O'Fallon, Illinois

Summary

The Multimodality Imaging Technologist I performs imaging procedures and patient care within diagnostic x-ray and one (1) or more advanced imaging modality. The advanced imaging modalities include CT, MRI, or mammography. The Multimodality Imaging Technologist I will function independently and must meet all the minimum qualifications and requirements for the modalities in which they practice.

Qualifications

Education

Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.

Experience

1 year of radiology/imaging experience is required.

Experience working in an advanced modality is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.

Certification in an advanced modality through ARRT is preferred (Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography (M), or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)).

License Radiographer in the state of practice is required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
