Operational Activity:

• Safely operate a truck and trailer to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload trailers efficiently, ensuring proper handling of cargo.
• Drop off trailers at specified locations and pick up new trailers for transport.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.

Competencies:

• Driving Skills: Experience in loading/ unloading and transporting trailers.
• Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify and implement cost-effective solutions.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders, and stairs.
• Walking, bending, and stooping are required.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to load/unload and transport a trailer.
• Must be able to adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety.
• Valid U.S. Drivers License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
