JOB SUMMARY:
The Social Worker III applies principles of Social Work and other behavioral health practices to provide patients and families with assessment, interventions, support, advocacy and case
management as a primary provider and/or as ancillary support to the primary medical provider. In all departments, practices as a member of multi-disciplinary team, in the provision of clinical intervention and support to patients and families. The Social Worker III assesses, develops treatment plans, and intervenes to address the needs identified in the assessment and by the team. Utilizes knowledge of culture, age and developmental stages to develop treatment plans and provide interventions, either as an independent practitioner or as a member of a clinical team. Takes lead to model professional guidance and integrity for the programs and division at large. This is exemplified by providing support and debriefing to RCHSD staff as needed. Must provide supervision to interns and unlicensed staff. Will provide ongoing education and training to SW I and SW II. Assist leadership in program development and quality improvement initiatives to support the development of programs, the continuum of care to the children/teens and families across all RCHSD programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree
Area of Study in a Field Related to the Position
2 Years of Experience
2 years experience required post licensure
Licensed in the State of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Psychologist
CA driver's license and proof of auto insurance, if applicable
3 years of experience in pediatric environment; assessment and treatment of children and adolescents required
Must maintain a minimum of .9 FTE
Completion of Clinical Supervision training in the State of California required
Certification or advance training in evidence-based practices specific to the needs of population served (TFCBT, PCIT, CPP) required
Training in SI Prevention/Means Assessment and Safety planning required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 years clinical supervision
Certified Trainer in evidence-based practice
The expected hiring range for this position is $39.51 to $54.33
