Sit Down Forklift Operator $20/hr-$22/hr

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift for 80% of your workday, with the remaining 20% dedicated to additional duties. You will primarily move bins to different locations on the production floor, inspect loads, build pallets, pick orders, and perform general cleaning. You will operate a single double forklift, capable of picking up two pallets at a time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure conveyors do not become backed up while fillers are running.

• Complete dunnage tasks daily and load trailers with the correct dunnage.

• Retrieve necessary materials and return unused materials to their designated areas.

• Prevent mixing different types or sizes of juices.

• Ensure all pallets are properly wrapped and documented on pallet count sheets in real-time.

• Wrap pallets securely to prevent shifting during transport without causing damage to the products.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of sit down forklift operation experience.

• Proficiency with computers and handheld devices.

• Experience with RF Smart systems.

• Skilled in paperwork documentation.

• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
