Description:

• Demonstrate an understanding of electrical safety and all safety practices within the mill.

• Experience with 480 industrial voltage.

• Ability to troubleshoot effectively.

• Knowledge of branch circuitry.

• Familiarity with motor controls.

• Understanding of electrical theory (Ohm's and Kirchhoff's laws).

• Proficiency in testing installations.

• Capability to read drawings and schematics.

• Skill in identifying electrical materials.

• Ability to set up wire pulling.

• Knowledge of wire pulling techniques.

• Capacity to test electrical components (low voltage – 24 volts).

• Enter work orders in the CMMS.

• Perform equipment preventive maintenance according to the planned schedule.

• Maintain records of equipment repairs.

• Support the development of spare parts list.

• Conduct weekly inventory of consumables/spare parts for machine lines and provide a report to the Lead at the end of the shift.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management or Leads.
