Job Overview:

A Supplier Delivery Assurance Senior Associate with 3-6 years of experience is responsible for ensuring that goods and materials are delivered to the company in a timely and accurate manner. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, negotiating delivery schedules, and monitoring the progress of shipments. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail, as well as a proven track record of successfully managing supplier deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Partner with planning to develop shortage and line of balance reports and expedite plans for delinquent suppliers • Track deliverables and adhere to strict schedule/milestones • Validate supplier lead times and expedite supplier orders • Provide low level analytics to determine, root cause issues and develop applicable corrective action plans • Meet with engineering, quality, and procurement to evaluate process and receive feedback on work performance. • Report project status during regular meetings with the customer. Typical reports would include updates on part shipments, issues or constraints at supplier effecting delivery and/or quality.

Qualifications:

  • • Minimum of 3-6 years’ experience in aerospace related procurement and planning. • Basic understanding of various departments within the supply chain, in particular, Customer Service, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations/Planning/Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality and Purchasing. • Schedule and time management. • Communications management. • Individual should be proficient in effectively working with ERP/MRP systems, to include hands on understanding of demand and supply. • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
