SEI INVESTMENTS COMPANY Supervisor, Operations Integrity and Quality Control in Oaks, Pennsylvania

Reference #: SEI1GLOBALR0030898EXTERNALENGLOBAL The Investment Manager Services (IMS) Division at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members to join our business unit. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional accounting and administration servicing for our clients' assigned alternative investment funds, mutual funds, CITs, or ETFs and other pooled vehicles. As the Supervisor within the Operations Integrity and Quality Control Team, you will be primarily focused on supporting our Alternative business unit and responsible with assisting Operation teams over its quality control through routine examinations of its significant processes and internal controls, along with providing recommendations for process development and improvements to help detect and prevent risks.

What you'll do:

You will work directly with the Alternative business unit to understand its operations and significant processes. You will assist in developing and executing quality control (QC) plans to test the operating effectiveness of significant processes and internal controls, the accuracy of financial records and compliance to each Operations teams' policies and procedures. Together, with your team, you will frequently liaise with key members of the Operations teams (including management) within the Alternative business unit to evaluate and identify opportunities to mitigate operational risks. This includes developing and implementing process enhancements and increasing efficiencies through use of automation from various technological tools/programs. You will assist in the development of policy and procedure documentation to address new and existing processes and controls that will be leveraged by the Operations team and its clients for informational and training purposes. You will assist in executing initiatives and projects aligned to the operational risks and Operations Management Teams with varying levels of scope and complexity to support our growth and work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders within the Alternative business unit to manage day-to-day business risks and processes. You will be involved with communication to management on the team's project objectives, status and outcomes. Document project deliverables (i.e., creating reports and presentations) as necessary. You will participate in skills training and development of staff. You will conduct performance appraisals, monthly one-on-ones with your staff and provide career pathing and training. This role requires a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual to manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive delivery schedule and also involves extensive communication with Operations teams, management and stakeholders within the Alternative business unit. What we need from you: BS/BA degree in business, accounting, finance or related field, or the equivalent in education and work experience. CPA, MBA or MS Accounting/Finance or advanced degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of fund accounting or operations experience, auditing, risk management or compliance experience within the wealth and asset management space. Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience. Demonstrate knowledge of alternative investment products and structures, along with the applicable laws, rules and standards from its regulatory bodies. Demonstrate a strong understanding of risks and controls in order to assist in developing QC review programs. Proficient with various data analytic, transformation and visualization tools. Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organiz tional skills. Ability to analyze issues quickly and independently and take appropriate action under tight time constraints. Ability to work independently and with others in an effective and professional manner. Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily support Operations and management teams across all IMS business units.
