We are currently seeking a Shipping Clerk to manage and process customer orders with precision and efficiency. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth operations by handling order processing, freight calculation, and coordinating with various departments to guarantee timely delivery to our customers. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a packaging, manufacturing, or similar industry and is comfortable using SAGE software for sales order management.

salary: $20 - $23 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Associate

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and manage sales orders from entry to completion using SAGE software

• Calculate and oversee freight costs to ensure cost-effective shipping solutions

• Collaborate closely with the warehouse, shipping, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders

• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers regarding order status, shipping details, and any inquiries

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to order discrepancies or delays

• Ensure proper documentation and data entry for each order

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide input on improving processes and workflows
