Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Communications Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing complex communications consultation, planning, implementation, and solutions for various programs and projects. These projects will target both internal and external audiences with the aim of meeting our organizational brand and reputation goals.

Responsibilities:

• Strategize with project teams and leadership to identify communication priorities and develop plans.

• Conduct research and analyze information and stakeholder audiences to improve communication strategies.

• Write and edit professional-level content for both Web and traditional media.

• Create consistent and compelling messaging and tactics that align with our brand.

• Coordinate and drive communication projects in a way that strengthens internal relationships.

• Manage the overall communication program to fulfill the goals and objectives of the project.

• Prepare presentations and manage the production of various communication materials.

• Work in collaboration with IT Communications on communications and assist in coordinating communications with other IT Process Tools projects.

• Demonstrate excellent presentation and PowerPoint skills.

• Use your leadership skills to guide the communication process.

• Respond to emerging issues and crises with effective communication strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism English Business Administration Public Relations or related field preferred.

• 7+ years of experience in corporate communications environment including intensive project communications support and content development.

• Experience in change leadership and change communications.

• Demonstrated professional-level writing and editing skills for Web and traditional media.

• Superior collaboration skills for working in a complex non-hierarchical organizational structure.

• Able to respond to emerging issues and crises.

• Recent experience in planning and implementing stakeholder engagement plans and internal communications campaigns for a large complex organization agency and health care background required with track record of increasing responsibility.

• Must have strong communication and planning skills be a detail oriented well organized problem solving/analytical self-directed team focused and results oriented individual.

• Excellent presentation and PowerPoint skills.
