Location

This position will be located in Oak Ridge, TN in support of Department of Energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Assures that Kiewit’s CRM tool, which serves as the documentation of the opportunities pipeline, is accurate and complete on a continual basis

• Conduct market research for identification, qualification, and pursuit of new project opportunities

• Administer the District CRM database and project pages: update information on projects regarding its contacts, competitors, and owners; generate leads

• Identify ways to improve marketing support services

• Prepare special reports, studies, statistical analyses, graphs, and slide presentations for Markets and Strategies for conferences, presentations, and Business Plans

• Provide support for presentations, pre-qualification packages and proposals

• Support the proposal management process: respond to RFEI’s, RFQ’s and RFP’s

• Write, edit, and manage the development of complex proposals

• Assist in producing marketing, advertising, and graphic design material

• Call upon customers; Develop trusting relationships with key decision makers. Develop and prioritize customer lists and contacts

• Track and manage Market and Strategies budget for trade events, shows, and conferences. Support industry and market events by representing and hosting company booths.

• Actively engage in regular Kiewit Nuclear Solutions business development meetings as well as weekly progress calls

• Coordinate and develop standardized processes, procedures, and decision trees

• Engages with clients, vendors, partners, and 3rd party subcontractors to establish a pipeline and achieve capture goals within an assigned region

• Establish and maintain key relationships with repeat and new clients

• Utilize industry contacts to create a clear picture of a client’s organization, decision making and strategy to adequately formulate a Kiewit win strategy and capture work

• Lead client visits and presentations with key business stakeholders typically less familiar/comfortable with the sales process

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.

• 2-3 years of similar experience for a large Engineering or Construction company.

• Experience in construction or heavy civil industry will be strongly considered.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Experience administering a CRM on a service-oriented application and integration platform.

• Experience using Tableau based and Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is a strong plus.

• Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

• Ability to travel.
