Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our client's team in the Spring/Woodlands area. In this Project Coordinator role, you will be actively involved in the construction industry, managing project coordination and basic bookkeeping tasks. Your key responsibilities will revolve around managing projects, overseeing some property leases, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Responsibilities for the Project Coordinator role:

• Leading project administration tasks, including the distribution of resources, tools, and information.

• Breaking down complex construction projects into manageable tasks.

• Ensuring the maintenance of project momentum and efficiently addressing any arising issues.

• Managing permit applications and assisting in acquiring pricing for estimates.

• Overseeing property leases and managing tenant move in/out procedures.

• Delivering excellent service to clients and tenants, fostering professional relationships.

• Researching and updating all contracts' database information.

• Managing multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Online and other software for project coordination and bookkeeping.

• Traveling to work sites as needed to determine utility requirements and temporary housing placements.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project coordinator role or similar position

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for handling and analyzing data

• Strong customer service skills for interacting with clients and team members

• Knowledge of construction projects and related financial management

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

• Experience with project billing, understanding of project budgets and cost control measures

• Proven skills in project coordination, ensuring smooth execution of tasks

• Ability to meet project deadlines, demonstrating time management and organizational skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for accounting and financial tasks

• Must have a high level of integrity and trustworthiness, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and effective interactions

• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with strong decision-making capabilities

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, fostering a collaborative environment.
