SPIN Cafe Staff member in Oak Harbor, Washington
Job Purpose: Serves as a staff member at SPiN Cafe, a day center for homeless and low-income individuals. Duties: *Duties include serving food and beverages to guests, monitoring outside activities, and janitorial duties. Applicants should be friendly and treat others with dignity and respect while maintaining clear personal boundaries. Must be able to handle a crisis calmly and be able to contact authorities or supervisor promptly. Hours: We are open 6:30 am to 5:30 pm 7 days a week. Hours vary, but must be able to work weekends. Skills/Qualifications: Communicate with guests in a cheerful manner Be able to multi-task effectively Be able to lift 30 lb's Bend, kneel and clean (no allergies to bleach or cleaning products) Be able to stand for long periods of time Must pass a background check Must acquire a food worker's card within 14 days Applicant must provide three references not related including contact information.
