What you’ll do as an Equipment Foreman
Lead crews to meet project timelines
Safely operate and control assigned equipment
Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed
Oversee and help with training of crew members
Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork
Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance
Perform work in all weather conditions
All other duties as assigned
What you’ll need
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it
Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
At least three years of related experience
Previous Foreman experience preferred
Physical abilities & exposures
Routinely : work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
