Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in the Healthcare/NHS industry based in OAK BROOK, Illinois, 60523-4104, United States. The successful candidate will contribute to our team by managing financial reports, maintaining general ledgers, and performing account analysis and reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee account reconciliation and account analysis

• Manage financial reporting and variance analysis

• Perform month-end close procedures and management reporting

• Maintain general ledger and prepare journal entries

• Participate in acquisition due diligence processes

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis

• Handle communications with a direct and sometimes blunt style

• Possess experience with Lawson and Peoplesoft software, although not a requirement. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare sector or NHS.

• Proficiency in Account Analysis and Account Reconciliation.

• Demonstrated experience in Financial Reporting.

• Proficiency in managing General Ledger and Journal Entries.

• Advanced skills in Management Reporting.

• Experience in handling Month End Close activities.

• Expertise in Reporting and Variance Analysis.

• Strong Financial Analysis skills.

• CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
