Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in OAK BROOK, Illinois. As an Accountant, you will primarily focus on reconciliation tasks, maintain financial reports, and work extensively with Yardi Systems. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct reconciliations of bank and ledger accounts while ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Prepare comprehensive reports on reconciliation activities and discrepancies, providing detailed insights

• Promptly analyze and resolve any discrepancies that may arise

• Process and prepare financial and business forms to verify account balances

• Collaborate effectively with accounts payable and receivable teams to ensure all transactions are posted correctly

• Diligently investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries that are raised

• Uphold compliance with all company, federal, and state financial regulations

• Contribute to financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements

• Utilize Yardi Systems for maintaining financial records and managing accounting procedures

• Assist in the maintenance of financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts Requirements • Possession of a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of accounting.

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems.

• Demonstrated ability to perform different Accounting Functions.

• Familiarity with Balance Sheet Account management.

• Experience with Yardi software.

• Capability to perform Bank Account Reconciliation.

• Proven track record in handling Bank Reconciliations.

• Skilled in Account Reconciliation.

• Ability to conduct Cash Reconciliations.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel in the context of accounting tasks.
