Our client in the financial industry is seeking an Accountant to join their team. As an Accountant, you will be part of the Accounting Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Oak Brook, IL

Pay Range: 40-45

What's the Job?

• Perform account analyses and reconcile selected expense and revenue accounts

• Review and analyze lease contracts, land purchase agreements, and track lease terms and conditions

• Prepare assigned recurring and non-recurring journal entries for the month-end closing process

• Answer questions from investors concerning variances on performance reports or direct questions to the appropriate individual(s)

• Establish and maintain billing and aging of accounts receivable process

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• Reside in remote eligible state: IL, IN, WI, DC, and VA

• Previous Accounting experience with knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing software

• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
