What will you be doing?

Positions are available for inexperienced individuals looking for their first full-time job licensed, for experienced operations and maintenance professionals, or those in the water/sewer industry seeking to make a career change.

Those filling these rewarding full-time positions will be part of a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and/or process control at water and wastewater facilities.

Schedule: This position is eligible for overtime.

Winter Schedule: 7:30am - 4:00pm plus overtime.

Summer Schedule: 6:30am - 3:00pm

What will you need to succeed?

  • Positive attitude and work ethic.
  • High School graduate or equivalent. A mechanical/technical/vocational school background or experience would be a plus.
  • A valid Missouri motor vehicle operator's license. A commercial driver's license (CDL) would be a plus.
  • The ability to perform manual labor. Must be able to lift or move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, pre-placement physical and drug screen before employment.

$25 - $27 an hour

The salary ranges given below are a national average only and may be different for this role based on specific collective bargaining agreements or contract requirements.

Please reference this project specific pay range instead. In addition, for facilities that are unionized and receive benefits through the union, the benefits may differ from what is listed.

Project Specific Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.00/hour

Retirement Savings:

401(k) Pre-tax or Roth Contributions: Company will match equal to 100% of the first 3% of salary contributed, All employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan and are 100% vested in the value of own contributions and any employer matching contributions.

Time away from work:

Vacation time is provided to full and part-time regular employees. Vacation is accrued, based on number of hours worked per week as well as prior years of experience.

Woodard and Curran offers paid sick time to eligible employees who are absent due to their own non-work related, illness, injury, or medical procedure.

Woodard and Curran provides up to 80 hours of Paid Parental Leave for child bonding in a 12-month period.

Company-paid short- and long-term disability insurance from Sun Life to assist with replacing a portion of your income in the event of non-job-related illness or injury. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled and eligible immediately.
