Description

We are looking for a Java Developer for one of our clients in St. Louis. This role is within the tech industry and will focus on programming, testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and support of systems application software. The right candidate will be involved in developing high quality, secure, scalable software solutions and will play a key role in driving our company's success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high quality, secure, scalable software solutions based on technical requirements specifications and design artifacts

• Perform feasibility studies, logic designs, detailed systems flowcharting, analysis of input-output flow, and cost and time analysis

• Contribute to project teams, meeting scheduled due dates while identifying emerging issues and recommending solutions

• Independently perform assigned tasks and manage production incident management

• Maintain adherence to our company's standards, processes, and best practices

• Conduct research, create and evaluate technical solution alternatives for the business needs and upcoming technologies and frameworks

• Document software programs per Software Development Best Practices and follow our Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes

• Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency

• Support the collection and reporting of project and software metrics.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.

• Proficiency in Backend Development is required.

• Familiarity with Bug Tracking systems.

• Strong understanding of Database management systems.

• Experience with AB Testing is essential.

• Expertise in Agile Scrum methodology is desired.

• Proficient in using Ajax for web application development.

• Should have experience in API Development.

• Knowledge of Java programming language is required.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot framework

• Experience in working with Kubernetes is a plus.

• Should possess a strong understanding of Apache Kafka.
