As a Production and Maintenance Coordinator, you will report to the Production Manager and be responsible for supporting various aspects of production and maintenance operations. You will support production with reviewing and maintaining documentation, maintaining inventories, and provide administrative support where necessary. You will also support and manage maintenance work with production schedules, acting as a Maintenance Gatekeeper. You will be responsible for safe work permitting in the production areas.

Formula for success...

  • Leveraging your experience with safety program and compliance, you will be responsible for coordinating and writing work permits for production, including safe work, hot work, confined space, and lockout/tagout permits, ensuring the safety of all non-routine work and full compliance with work permit standards.

  • Using your collaboration skills, you will act as Maintenance Gatekeeper, serving as a liaison between production and maintenance, while working with both departments, you will review, coordinate, and prioritize maintenance and production requirements to ensure optimum work schedule.

  • Utilizing your project management skills, you will support and lead small investment projects in production, including providing accurate costing estimates and schedules.

  • Managing contractors work, ensuring their compliance with company safety requirements and coordinating contractor scheduling.

  • Supporting production in various administrative aspects, including maintaining inventory of consumables, supporting filter and equipment requests, and creating labels from SAP.

  • Supporting various site functions, serving as respiratory program administrator, safety shoe and prescription eyewear coordinator, and training coordinator.

Qualifications...

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5-10 years job-related experience in a cGMP production environment.

  • Experience with managing maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance, and scheduling.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and root cause analysis preferred.

  • Project management experience a plus.

Pay transparency

BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $58,400 - $73,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
