Your future role.
As Drives Strategy & Product Manager Drive Experience, you will help shape the strategy of the Medium Voltage Drives Division and be responsible for further developing features of the digitalization portfolio, in particular the digital user experience, the on-premise product offering and commissioning tools.
You will work closely with the headquarters and various functions of the division. In product management, you will coordinate closely with global development teams in the USA, China and Germany. In your role, you will report to the Head of Product Management for Digitalization and New Markets.
Coordination and further development of the strategic program within the Medium Voltage Drives organization
Tracking existing and creating new measures to achieve sales and profitability targets
Supporting management in the preparation of presentations
Gathering and writing customer requirements (functional and non-functional) and transferring them into the development process
Interaction with cross-functional project teams, including engineering, quality, sales, marketing for product launches
Coordination and control of interdisciplinary Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities
Build deep fundamental understanding of customer needs, technology, market and competitors to identify global trends and drivers
Responsibility for the achievement and correct execution of product development milestones and support in roadmap planning
Definition of the product marketing strategies (product/solution/service, price, placement, promotion)
Your profile.
The basis of your success is a master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering
Building on this, you have already gained at least three years of professional experience in product management, consulting or other strategic positions
You are a "digital native" and have already worked in a B2B environment on projects related to digitalization
You are fluent in English and German, Chinese is a plus
Ideally, you have a good understanding of medium voltage drives and their applications
Willingness to travel internationally
Ideally, you have basic knowledge of LEAN / agile development / SCRUM / SAFe, but are also familiar with the classic milestone-based development process
