Job Description Summary

Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team.

Responsible to schedule material cuts internal and external, as well as be responsible of the internal cutting saw operation as well as the proper documentation to comply with these responsibilities.

Capable to arrange logistics with the internal team.

Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the hourly team to receive, classify, and stock incoming goods.

  • Material handlers’ administration/ coordination •

  • Keep the control of the GTTC inventory.

  • Warrantee the systems effectivity for the material stock

  • Supervise the internal cutting area.

  • Coordinate external and internal cutting area.

  • Generate cutting instructions.

  • Generate the proper documentation for material transportation.

  • Coordinate with logistics the material transportation.

  • Report needs and control material efficiency.

  • Able to administrate and take decisions based on Safety, Quality, delivery & Cost

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Industrial Design, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related.

  • Basic experience in Logistics, Material Handling, Inventory Control.

  • English language (medium level to high)

  • Microsoft tools (Excel mainly)

  • Solid or AutoCAD knowledge

  • Leadership skills

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, and execute programs.

  • Previous experience in materials planning or warehousing.

  • Teamwork skills.

  • Experience in Metal-Mechanical Industry

  • Lean Experience - 5S implementation
