About the Role

TWE seeks a Strategic Account/Retail Chain Market Manager, located in our Florida market. The successful incumbent will reside in the (in order of preference) Tampa, St. Petersburg or Orlando area and is responsible for achieving company sales and distribution objectives in the Southeast geography, with a focus on Florida. Responsibilities will include retail execution & development, designing local selling strategies, promotional planning, and regional chain management. The Manager will work closely with TAM Strategic Account Directors, sales managers, and commercial manager counterparts to expand regional distribution priorities, while driving programming and execution. The position demands distributor merchandising & execution leadership via demo activations, salesperson work withs, retail event activation, distributor & trade education.

You will be responsible for:

Sales Strategy & Account Management

  • Lead distributor merchandising strategies & planner execution.

  • Work closely with distributor merchandising and sales teams via work withs, team meetings & trade education.

  • 80% of time will be spent out in the retail trade (distributor work withs, retail activations, store level development)

  • Stewardship of distributor execution of all National HQ promotions & programs

  • Flawless execution of national authorizations: Focus on brand POD & dollar volume growth ahead of competitive market.

  • Use of market data (IRI-Consumer Insights) to identify market opportunities, leveraging with the distributor sales team.

  • Fiscal responsibility: stay within pre-agreed annual market budgets, putting controls in place to manage local market spend.

  • Ownership of key regional chain customer call points, business development & growth.

Communication

  • Communicating and collaborating with all key Stakeholders in Marketing, Finance, Commercial Strategy, Supply and the TAM Divisions.

  • Coordinating with TAM's demand planning team to manage information flow regarding products, packaging and promotional activities.

  • Coordinating with Public Relations team in the planning of event-based activities and media relations.

About You

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.

  • You have a minimum of 5 years professional experience in sales, marketing, or business management, or equivalent required.

  • You have professional experience in managing chain accounts (required).

  • Beverage-alcohol experience required.

  • You can use programs for presentation preparation, budgets, and basic analysis.

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

  • You have strong persuasive presentation skills, including the ability to speak before small and large audiences both internally and externally, required.

  • You must possess strong negotiation and mediation skills with the ability to influence and motivate others to meet objectives under sometimes-restrictive timelines.

  • You can manage tasks and to exercise independent judgment without supervision.

  • You are organized and can multi-task and deliver projects, including having the ability to manage multiple competing priorities are essential.

  • You have an aptitude for technology and are proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), desktop publishing programs. Experience with Essbase and Pricer preferred.

  • You have high integrity and a commitment for a strong work ethic.

  • Significant travel within assigned territory required.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

  • Must be able to lift a case of wine (45 pounds).

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $103,000 to $131,000 per year and a target bonus and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work in our target market listed above. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
