Opportunity Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our mobile industrial robots in the Americas. This role involves identifying and securing new large customers, building strategic relationships, and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in industrial robotics and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential large customers and emerging opportunities within the region.

  • Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategies to generate leads and nurture prospects, utilizing a combination of cold outreach, networking, and industry events.

  • Sales Strategy: Create and implement a targeted sales strategy tailored to the unique needs of the mobile industrial robotics market.

  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective customer organizations.

  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling proposals and presentations that address customer needs and demonstrate the value of our solutions.

  • Negotiation and Closing: In charge of negotiations and closing deals to secure long-term contracts with large customers.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and assess sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management on progress and outcomes.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and advancements in robotics technology to inform business strategies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Robotics, Business, or related).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development role within the industrial robotics sector.

  • Proven track record of identifying and securing large customers, with strong negotiation skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data to inform strategic decisions.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for technology and innovation.

  • Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
