What You’ll Do:
As an Automotive Wire Harness Technician, you will:
Build and assemble wire harnesses from scratch or using donor components, following prints, cut sheets, and detailed instructions.
Work efficiently on “bread boards,” plywood bucks, and in-vehicle installations to meet project milestones and delivery timelines.
Ensure quality and reliability through proper soldering, terminal crimping, continuity testing, and accurate measurement.
Troubleshoot wiring issues, collaborate with engineers and senior technicians to identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while upholding customer confidentiality and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on wire harness assembly or related automotive wiring experience.
Technical Skills: Comfortable with soldering, correct tool usage, proper taping and sealing techniques, and using multimeters for continuity tests.
Attention to Detail: Precise measurements, accurate builds, and a commitment to 100% quality.
Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently, ask questions when needed, and think critically to resolve build challenges.
Team Player: A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to share insights with your colleagues.
Preferred (Not Required) Extras:
Wiring certifications or high-voltage training.
Experience with design, quality tools, or OEM plant environments.
