The Lead Cyber Security Architect will play a crucial role in designing and implementing advanced cybersecurity solutions for Resideo organization. This role will have a significant impact on our organization's cybersecurity breakthrough and disruptive technology development. The Lead Cyber Security architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge technologies to protect our products, systems, and data, monitor and anticipate security trends, and apply innovative ideas to enhance existing systems architecture. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, extensive experience with security principles, policies, and compliance, and the ability to create strategic direction in complex and unstructured environments.

JOB DUTIES:

• Act as a thought leader in cyber security, championing best practices and innovative solutions that enhance the organization’s security posture.

• Monitor and anticipate future security trends, leveraging this knowledge to influence and adapt security strategies, ensuring they remain robust and effective.

• Drive the development of security strategies and roadmaps, ensuring a cohesive and forward-thinking approach to all security initiatives.

• Develop and implement reference security architectures that align with organizational goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy advanced security controls, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.

• Act as a mentor, providing guidance and support to junior cybersecurity professionals in organization.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor's, Master's degree, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in a lead cyber security architecture role or 6+ years of progressive experience in cyber security architecture

• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

• Up to date knowledge of current and emerging security threats, techniques for exploiting security vulnerabilities, security controls, and standards & regulations.

• Excellent communication and ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders.

• Ability to lead indirect reports by influence.

WE VALUE

• 12+ years of relevant experience (IT, Software Development, Architecture, Cyber security, etc).

• Certifications in security and privacy demonstrating deep practical knowledge such as CSSLP or CISSP.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate diverse groups, help negotiate priorities, and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
