Robert Half Workers Compensation Attorney in Novato, California

Description

We are searching for a skilled attorney with experience in workers compensation to join our legal team. This role centers around managing the workers compensation department and handling all related legal matters. You will be expected to work diligently in this fast-paced environment, using your expertise in workers compensation law and legal software to ensure the smooth operation of our department.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing all aspects of the workers compensation department, ensuring that all procedures and processes are followed correctly

• Using legal software such as 3M, LexisNexis, and Case Management Software for various tasks including case management, research, and documentation

• Handling all legal matters related to workers compensation, including civil litigation and claim administration

• Preparing and delivering briefings on important case updates, changes in workers compensation law, and other relevant information

• Handling complaints from clients, ensuring they are resolved in a timely and professional manner

• Utilizing your skills in documentation to keep accurate records of all cases and legal proceedings

• Staying updated on changes in workers compensation law and implementing these changes in our practices

• Working closely with other members of the legal team to ensure the best possible outcome for all cases

• Using your knowledge of Management System to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements

• Must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

• Must be licensed to practice law in California.

• Experience in briefing, civil litigation, claim administration, complaint handling, and documentation is essential

• Knowledge and understanding of Workers Compensation and Workers Comp Law

• Must be able to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to legal professional ethics

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality legal services

• Experience in handling complex legal issues and providing effective legal solutions

• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
