Robert Half Senior Financial Analyst in Nottingham, Pennsylvania

Description

In this Senior Financial Analyst position, you will be tasked with measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans and conducting financial modeling on a wide range of financial products. In addition to preparing reports for management, you will help advise management on the distribution of resources to best complete objectives. This Senior Financial Analyst role, which is a permanent employment opportunity, is located in the Philadelphia area.

How you will make an impact:

  • Provide financial leadership and decision support to the team

  • Support the annual operating plan process, budget and forecast process

  • Conduct business analysis performance reporting

  • Assist with the department’s compilation and distribution of management reports, metrics, and analysis of financial trends

  • Analyze actual results against budget and forecasting

  • Support model development to aid decision making across a variety of opportunities

  • Assist the Finance Manager in providing budget oversight

  • Maintain financial controls to key financial statement drivers

  • Develop and execute complex data analyses and financial models

  • Gather data from disparate sources, analyze findings and present to make sound business decisions.

    Requirements

The ideal Senior Financial Analyst should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Senior Financial Analyst role include and are not limited to:

  • 3+ years financial analysis experience

  • Manufacturing experience preferred

  • MS Dynamics 365 experience preferred

  • Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and cost accounting principles.

  • Outstanding communications, analytical, planning, data gathering, critical thinking and teamwork skills

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to achieve company goals
