City of Woonsocket CODE ENFORCEMENT COORDINATOR in Not Listed, Massachusetts
Under the direction of the Senior Code Enforcement Officer, the Code Enforcement Coordinator is responsible for the intake, processing and tracking of all property maintenance code complaints and City ordinance violations from the public and City department personnel. The person in this position must also communicate the status of all code violations with property owners, real estate agents, contractors and other interested parties. A high school diploma, or GED equivalent, and one (1) year of clerical office experience is required. Education and/or workforce training can be substituted for requirements. The applicant for this position must be able to type at a minimum rate of thirty- five (35) words per minute as determined by testing either through the RI Department of Labor and Training or similar testing online. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and standard office equipment is required. Must also be able to work in a fast-paced office environment, as well as communicate effectively either in person or via telephone, email or in writing with all levels of City administration, the general public, and other interested parties as they pertain to specific code violations.
