M.S. Walker Warehouse Associate (3rd Shift) in Norwood, Massachusetts

Working at our distribution warehouse in Norwood, MA, the operations team ensures that all of our product orders are picked, prepared, and loaded onto our trucks efficiently and accurately. Shift Available: 3rd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 pm to 6:30 am
- Bonus: $300 at 30 calendar days, $400 at 60 calendar days, and $500 upon joining the Union (estimated 4 months of work)

Responsibilities:
Pick cases to pallet or conveyor and/or from warehouse shelves by hand or with a forklift
Unload trucks and move product throughout the warehouse using a forklift or electric pallet jack
Load trucks with picked product in efficient manner to be sent out for delivery
Take and understand verbal direction from management while performing tasks
Work in a safe and efficient manner adhering to OSHA compliant standards and Federal/State regulations
Comply with M.S Walker, Inc. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards
Requirements
Minimum of 18 years old with the ability to follow all job requirements and safety guidelines
Experience working in a warehouse environment
Experience safely operating warehouse equipment (Forklifts, Order Pickers, and Pallet Jacks) preferred; will train for the right candidates!
Ability to recognize and distinguish product both visually and in writing
Physical Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Long periods of walking, standing, bending, and heavy lifting
Ability to lift single cases weighing up to 45 lbs. repeatedly and for long durations of time
