Job Title: Customer Engagement & Sales Specialist
Location: Onsite in Stamford
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 Base + Bonus/Commission structure

Our client is an emerging health and wellness brand, dedicated to offering high-quality, tailored nutritional products. They operate in direct-to-consumer (D2C) and business-to-business (B2B) markets, empowering customers to achieve better health outcomes. Their expanding customer base includes individual consumers as well as professionals, such as practitioners and pharmacies.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, results-oriented Customer Engagement & Sales Specialist to help shift customer service to an engagement-driven approach. In this role, you’ll manage inquiries, nurture business relationships, and reach out to both current and potential clients to promote product offerings. A key aspect of this role will be strengthening relationships with B2B accounts, ensuring they fully understand the benefits of the complete product range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive Customer Engagement:
Engage actively with new and existing customers, focusing on B2B relationships that comprise 50% of volume.
Use customer data to connect with repeat buyers and high-potential leads, encouraging them to explore additional products.
Reach out to D2C customers with high-order volumes to ensure satisfaction and address additional needs.
- Sales Support & Outreach:
Implement outreach strategies through the email marketing platform for tracking customer buying trends.
Communicate with B2B clients, including practitioners and pharmacies, to enhance product awareness, build sales, and foster lasting partnerships.
Design and manage a structured outreach program targeting clients from the past 6, 12, and 18 months.
- Relationship Building:
Collaborate with external brokers to develop and strengthen business relationships.
Identify opportunities to introduce complementary products to existing B2B clients, promoting full range of offerings.
- Customer Support & Troubleshooting:
Deliver outstanding service for inbound calls, responding to product inquiries and quickly resolving issues.
Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for customers who discovered products through various sources, including books and recommendations from health practitioners.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in customer service, sales support, or a related role, with a history of proactive outreach.
Strong customer engagement skills, particularly in B2B and D2C contexts, with a focus on relationship building.
Highly organized, capable of managing outreach and follow-up for a range of clients.
Familiarity with CRM systems or engagement platforms is a plus; experience with Omniscent or similar tools is ideal.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
