Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher is responsible for accurately processing concrete orders and batching materials through the plant, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations. This role is essential in maintaining efficient operations. 2 years dispatching experience required.
Duties
- Schedule and monitor systems for daily operators for incoming and outgoing trucks accurately.
- Quote and record concrete sales in the Jonel system for inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Assist with maintaining onsite ADEM records.
- Manage ordering and dispersing of materials onsite.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure timely processing of orders.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Understanding of the areas for sales tax calculation and pricing for material.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dispatching/batching through a software program.
- Familiarity with trucking used for shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate weight calculations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
