Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented packer for our 2nd shift, from 2pm to 10:30pm. The role involves handling and packaging liquids and powders, requiring precision and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Responsibilities
Use computer systems and handle related documentation
Fill liquids and powders into tanks
Use scales to get accurate measurements of liquids
Weigh out raw materials accurately according to the formula
Select the appropriate tank based on manufacturing requirements and batch size
Pick the required raw materials from the warehouse according to the formula
Scan raw materials using a barcode scanner to ensure lot number and quantity accuracy
Stage the raw materials and add them to the tank according to work order instructions
Fill and pack orders according to sales orders, ensuring accurate weight and using the specified sifter screen and labels
Follow GMP safety guidelines and procedures
Be open to cross-training and assisting in different departments
Essential Skills
Experience in warehouse, loading, packing, cleanroom, and general labor
Attention to detail for labeling and packing logs
Comfortable wearing a respirator
Knowledge of GMP, food manufacturing, compounding, material handling, and chemical handling
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a cleanroom and food manufacturing environment
Familiarity with GMP standards

Work Environment
This role operates in a GMP food environment, requiring adherence to strict safety and cleanliness standards. Employees must be comfortable working around chemicals and food-grade materials, wearing a respirator, and following GMP guidelines. The work involves the use of scales, pumps, valves, air mixers, forklifts, and pallet jacks.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
