Job Code: 17438 Job Location: Northampton, MA or Philadelphia, PA or Anaheim, CA or Camden, NJ Job Schedule: 9/80 An Active US DoD Secret Security Clearance is required Job Description: Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Mechanical Engineering team for our domestic Maritime sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering design and development for the defense industry. In addition, the candidate must have skills in project engineering and program management, team development and leadership, and executive and customer communications. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams. Qualifications: Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience An Active US DoD Secret security clearance is required. 5+ years experience in one or more of the following: C5ISR technology, maritime power systems, surface naval systems, or undersea vehicles/systems. 5+ years in a functional management or leadership role. Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale developmental engineering projects. Strong understanding of systems engineering and product lifecycle management. Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
