Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Coordinate with Global Service Owners to deliver Global Projects to ANZ

  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Technical Guidance:

  • Provide technical expertise and support to the Managed Service Provider (MSP).

  • Ensure adherence to best practices in IT project management and support.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.

  • Prepare and present detailed project reports, including status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of project activities and decisions.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the MSP Coordination team and other departments, external clients, and vendors.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.

  • Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during project execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and IT support processes.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel or similar.

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

  • Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation.

  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.

Additional Requirements:

  • Based in Sydney, Australia.

  • Required to come to the office 5 days a week.

  • Ability to provide on-site support when necessary.

  • Attend evening calls with Global Service Owners

  • Commitment to delivering regular progress updates and reports.
