Description

We are in search of an AR and Collections Specialist to join our client based in northern Rhode Island. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing receivables, processing payments, and maintaining strong customer relations. You will play a crucial role on the team, ensuring the smooth operation of our customer accounts and collections processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

• Strategically target outstanding debts for accelerated collections by monitoring receivables.

• Investigate historical data for overdue accounts to create tailored collection strategies.

• Maintain strong customer relationships by contacting customers regarding overdue payments.

• Ensure timely resolution of billing, pricing, and deduction issues.

• Apply cash application processes to process payments.

• Keep the Finance and Accounting team updated with account status, collection efforts, and processing of deductions.

• Perform various accounts receivable functions, including answering inbound calls and claim administration.

• Engage in billing functions and collection processes as part of the role.

Requirements

• Familiarity with CRM tools and strategies.

• Experience with a large ERP system is strongly desired

• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls professionally and efficiently.

• Proficiency in handling Billing Functions.

• Experience in Claim Administration.

• Knowledge and practical experience with Collection Processes.
