Job Description
The Turnover Coordinator/Project Document Controls is primarily responsible for the management, control, and issuance of required project documents. This position will be tasked with the input, tracking, management, and submittal of project completion turnover documents.
Responsibilities
Populate registers and systems with all data required for project handover and completion based on specific contract requirements.
Electronic transmittal of documents through sharepoint, Fusion Live, Orbit, or PIMS.
Manage incoming document transmittals and update of IFC drawing packages to incorporate revisions and redline drawings.
Ensure that data integrity is maintained at all times, perform periodic audits of project documentation. Reviews of craft work site drawing packages to verify current revisions are in use.
Administration, control and monitor lists and drawing index through each phase. Ensure RFI, change order, and all other project logs are currently updated.
Ensure that all records, design drawings, and as-built certifications are in accordance with the project deliverable requirements.
Prepare documentation for handover to clients in specified formats based on contract requirements. Assembly of manufacturing record books including bookmarking and indexing.
Verify project documents being handed over from Construction are complete and meet contract requirements.
Provide reports on progress of completion tracked through client share point sites.
Develop and maintain system turnover definitions and schedules including alignment with the engineering, quality assurance and construction teams, ensuring smooth transition from projects to operations.
Provide leadership and guidance in systems completion.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit’s success also may be assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent or ten (10) years related experience will be considered.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related preferred.
Minimum five (5) years of Turnover Coordinator, Document Controls or directly related industry experience is preferred.
Experience must include working knowledge of industrial construction or oilfield industry.
Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy preferred.
