About the job:

We are currently seeking a Pharmacist needed for a fast-growing mail order pharmacy in North Salt Lake! This role involves responsibilities similar to those in a retail pharmacy, including pre-check (PB1), post-check (B2), and speaking with patients and providers. You will also manage state-to-state compliance as this is a mostly closed-door mail order facility. Unlike retail pharmacy, you will only work one weekend a quarter (8-12 shift), providing an excellent work-life balance with guaranteed breaks and lunches. Licenses in other states, particularly AZ or FL, are a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Interpret prescription orders and input them into the computer system.

• Advise patients and doctors about products, with approximately 75% of interactions involving providers.

• Check compounding formulas and update lot and expiration dates.

• Perform final checks on all prescriptions.

• Supervise technicians.

• Perform initial interpretation of prescriptions.

Job Requirements

• Licensed Pharmacist in Utah

• PharmD degree

• Open to new or recent grads with consistent, demonstrated work experience

• Compounding experience is a plus

• Retail pharmacy experience is a plus

• Experience with non-sterile compounding is a plus

• Licensure in AZ or FL is nice to have
