Amazon's Grocery Robotics and Automation Systems team is seeking a proven technology product management leader (Sr. PMT) to lead the our Machine Reliability Experience (MRX) and Launch Readiness Experience (LRX) software program. The MRX and LRX are crucial to our success at Grocery Robotics and Automation Systems as we prepare to scale our automation solutions across the Amazon Grocery Fulfilment Network. The Sr. PMT will partner with business and engineering teams across Amazon to identify opportunities to reduce our deployment time to market and reduce our unplanned time post-launch. Leveraging these opportunities, the role owns developing the roadmap of innovation that aims to build a comprehensive software suite through the entire deployment and launch journey, while guiding the evolution of our technical architecture to turn the headwinds of today into the core capabilities of tomorrow.
Key job responsibilities
As the Sr. PMT, your responsibilities will include:
• Drive feature launches including working with business development, marketing, leadership, customer support, engineering, UX, operations, solution architects, and other product management team members
• Own and define the feature design and technology approach, managing tradeoffs and dependencies with key stakeholders
• Understand market trends and build business cases for new product opportunities.
• Dive deep into customer feedback to represent the voice of the customer to the engineering team and other stakeholders
• Ability to establish and monitor business metrics to drive the team’s progress toward goals
• Review with stakeholders status, progress and results of projects
• Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
• Maintain a feature backlog. Make requirements trade-offs for short-term and long term
About the team
The Grocery Automation and Robotics Systems Team innovates, designs, develops, and integrate automation solutions to reduce cost and time to serve, while improving customer and employee experience for our Grocery operations. Our road map focuses on systematically improving every aspect of the Amazon’s Grocery operations from: associate experience, safety, costs, storage, throughput capacity, speed, flexibility, scalability, sustainability, operational performance and reliability. Our team members possess deep design experience and innovation skill-sets in these technical areas. We work closely with internal partner teams in all geographies to align priorities, eliminate duplication or waste. Our solutions are extremely cost effective, driving Customer value and experience. The team provides oversight and approvals for project technical feasibility, design and realization.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
5+ years of end to end product delivery experience
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of technical product or program management experience
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
