Charter Care Health Partners Site Supervisor, Laboratory Services - OLF in North Providence, Rhode Island
Summary: Under the general direction of the Director, Laboratory Services is responsible for the maintenance of the delivery of quality, cost-effective laboratory services in compliance with all regulatory and licensing standards. Manages day to day functions of the laboratory.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science. Master's Degree in similar fields strongly preferred. Proficient in the use of various software applications is required.
Licensure: MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP).
Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a related clinical environment required. Management Experience preferred.

Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with all levels of individuals.
Ability to objectively appraise and analyze information and situations.
Ability to identify needed changes in process or direction. Ability to make informed, sound decisions, and develop innovative and practical solutions.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Generally normal office conditions and in various Laboratory Services, hospital clinical areas, various other patient care and related areas.
Sits and stands for the majority of the day.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements for staff level positions in the department(s) as necessary.
Some pushing and pulling of wheeled carts, occasional lifting frequently of 10 to 15 lbs.
Occasional stress due to multiple demands of the position.
