The Facilities Maintenance Technician (Full-time weekday Swing) for Cytiva is responsible for supporting the preventive maintenance program by carrying out effective maintenance routines and repairs, prolonging its useful life, and optimizing the efficiency of facilities equipment.

This position is part of the Maintenance Department located in Logan and will be on-site. This will be swing shift, Monday-Friday 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and is eligible for shift differential pay. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Perform maintenance on buildings, equipment, and production machinery, which may involve hazardous conditions like welding, grinding, and electrical work. Extra hours and weekend work may be required, along with cross-functional collaboration with the Process Maintenance team.

• Promote continuous improvement and innovation, aligning with lean thinking and maintenance best practices.

• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and adhere to EHS regulations and policies.

Who you are:

• Hold a 1-year technical certificate with basic skills in mechanical, electronics, instrumentation, or related fields.

• Demonstrate proficiency in working within clearly defined standard operating procedures.

• Experience in following appropriate Work Order tasks related to maintenance and facilities activities

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Relevant working knowledge of a regulated industry and GMP.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel within four sites in same city.

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb.
